The theatre is very small and is contained within a quaint rambling old building which has a large ground floor area food and drinks and a lovely outdoor rooftop area for the same. It is situated near to the town centre and car parking is available about 5 minutes walk away at the Cabot Circus car park, which is not too pricey. The lack of room obviously restricts the type of shows that can be put on but there are clearly a number of eclectic performers that can make maximum use of the facilities.

We saw 'Noisy Holiday' with our grandchildren. It's a one man show starring Ed Patrick aka Kid Carpet. He displayed a wonderful array of talents ranging from short catchy tunes to different voices for each of the four small plastic animal toys that went on holiday with him! I was impressed with the way the backing videos and music flowed seamlessly with the acting despite the many ad libs that Ed included. Ed has a very wacky humour which the kids loved and caused them to laugh out loud on numerous occasions. The small scenery which was displayed behind the toys was excellently designed. These scenes were projected by video camera onto a screen in the corner.

The show is difficult to describe as it so unusual. We all enjoyed it though.

This venue is well worth a visit.
