We had the absolute WORST experience at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Auburn. After arriving at the hotel (within 2 hours) we discovered a bed bug in our room. We brought it to the attention of the front desk and they directed us to the general manager. She (Megan) provided us with the most terrible and appalling customer service we have EVER received. It is terrible enough to find a bed bug in your hotel room, then how we were treated made things absolutely worse. Megan accuses us of bringing the bed bugs with us, but we had just arrived and found more under the bed skirt. She (Megan) forced us to leave the hotel and did not provide any help or compensation for another place to stay. We are SO diasappointed with La Quinta Inn & Suites and would recommend anyone to NEVER stay at their Auburn location, specifically.
