I was able to get my passport in an emergency the same day. I booked an appointment online, but showed up way early just in case they could help me sooner than my appointment time. Everyone was kind, polite, and helpful. I had missed a couple things on my form, but they patiently helped me correct it. While I was waiting I saw several people just show up without doing any research, they had a much harder time. I'd highly recommend following the clear, simple, instructions on their website if you plan to come here. Because I followed the instructions, I got my passport with enough time to make my same-day flight, saving the 10-yr anniversary trip my wife and I had planned for months. Thank you so much!!
