Do not visit London without stopping at the tower. It's a really amazing castle, perfect for children and adults. The beefeaters are awesome and hilarious, make SURE to catch one of their tours while there. Highlights include the crown jewels, arms and armor museum in the central tower, and amazing views of tower bridge. There is a lot of walking, so I'd recommend seeing the tower earlier in your trip. Takes London pass with no wait, just go directly to the entrance.
