I am a former employee of Point to Point Security. The pay is not bad in comparison to other security companies. The problem is their account managers who have but one responsibility and that is to do whatever they have to do to keep the account active which often includes putting the officers safety in jeopardy by placing the desires of a client desiring a cheap rate for a post that should be armed but they place an unarmed officer in dangerous post because they can give the client a cheaper rate. They lie and tell you every officer will be called with a wellness check every hour but instead an officer working a dangerous unarmed post overnight rarely gets a wellness check. They do have a sergeant come by once a night to check on you when available. The fact is the so-called operations center is usually not manned at night. Instead the officer is instructed to call the account manager in case of an emergency even before you are allowed to call 911. Don't even think about turning down a shift on your day off or working overtime, even if you were hired to work part-time as I was. If you turn down extra hours, they will find a way to get rid of you. Don't work for this company unless you are stupid. It is a good post if you can't pass a drug test because they don't drug test. They are only interested in warm bodies.
