Stopped in to grab a pie and a few pieces of pie for the family to eat onsite before heading to camp. An older Mainer was surprised by the price of the pie so I looked at him and said It takes a lot of blueberries to make a pie. It does seem a bit high though. It was at that point the guy working behind the counter looked at me and in a snide way said $22 a little too pricy for you? my response was it s not to high for me but it s all relevant. He decided to test me a little more (because obviously I must me a tourist) and let me know if it was too much for me Walmart makes a nice blueberry pie for $11. You might want to try theirs. So I kindly told him I was all set and walked out the door.

I ve spent a few hundred dollars a year at the Giant Blueberry for several years now. It s a great place to stop during the season but this year it took one punk to cost this place a customer. The great thing about living in blueberry land is that I can get my blueberry laced goodies anywhere.
