I was required by Jim Pearson's transport to undergo a occupational therapy assessment in regards to a pre-employment medical. All of the equipment used for my assessment was not up to the task and should not have been used for my assessment. Firstly the blood pressure machine didn't fit my arms nor did the second back up. The only reading the managed to get was very high (158) and they still sent that without having any benchmark or anything to compare it with. The other part I failed was having to do a squat and hold it for 3 mins, what truck driver squats for 3 mins?? I'm a big bloke at 6'7" and 147kgs, overweight but I definitely don't think they did their job by submitting an evaluation on the basis of no more than 40 mins. Not only that but they where not equipped to process someone of my size. They definitely didn't have the ability to access me under those circumstances. Their report ultimately cost me my job. Thanks very much
