Some of the staff are rude and clearly see you waiting to be helped and they just ignore you. Getting appointments for doctor, therapist, glasses, dental and caseworkers is always a month out to schedule an appointment. You have to be there an hour to an hour and a half early to be seen that day. And still there is no guarantee that you will be seen. Waiting for anything from the pharmacy is agonizing!!! It's always takes more than an hour to get medications filled even if you ordered refills online, it still takes forever. And the medications are ALWAYS wrong! I have to say that it the worst place to fill prescriptions. They say they help with housing but you have to be on your caseworker weekly just so they do their job and put you on housing wait-list that can take up to or over 2 years to get housing. But it has free medical, eye appointment, dental and mental health services. I would recommend going to Denver Health because you get better help and medications are quickly filled. Stout Street Clinic is overwhelmed with homeless and low income people. Their computer system is a joke. It take forever to find appointments and to schedule an appointment. They need a new computer system that works efficiently. And make the caseworkers care about the people there, treat them like they are humans. Return phone calls I've called my caseworker EVERYDAY and I still haven't received a return phone call from her! It's like she doesn't know what she is doing and just blows you off when you asks questions she can't answer. Answer the phone and be helpful not negative! They put you on housing lists, keep on them to find new housing lists to apply for. And do your job!!!
