Stayed here with the kids. Firstly it took about 15 minutes to check in, and we were the only ones there. Receptionist was busy answering the phone constantly, under-staffed I'd say.
Went for breakfast this morning at 8 am. There was no staff there until after 08:05, also hot food wasn't ready until a while after. Buffet breakfast was a bit disappointing which included pale orange juice and scones that were not fresh.
Went for lunch elsewhere today and came back to the hotel for dessert, once again disappointed here. I ordered apple pie and my wife ordered Key Lime pie. I had to go to the bar after waiting for 20 minutes to be told that there was no key lime pie or apple pie. There was a rigmarole getting the money back for one of the desserts.
Bad management at this hotel ensures it's a let down. It's a nice hotel but poorly run. Should be on Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. Why put food on a brand new menu and then not have it available?
