Make reservations for the star parties that are held Thursday through Saturday. While you wait for the party to start you can shop in the gift shop, grab a coffee or snack from the star cafe and check out the exhibits and history of the observatory. We went when it was cloudy but they still did their best to put on a great program. The drive up there is worth it all and the song is true, the stars at night are big and bright!!!
