PLEASE, FIND ANOTHER HOTEL
So disappointing and disgusting. The photos online are most likely from when they first opened up this hotel. The 1st room we were originally booked for smelled so musty, like dirty carpet and wet dog. We called the front desk to inform them of the smell, and at the time I didn't notice it as a red flag but they seemed to expect it and offered an fragrance aerosol or a different room. No questions asked about the smell, where it was coming from, or even offered a staff to come check it out as a concerned employee.. We moved 2 rooms down bay front and this room smelled less than the first but still had a dirty smell to it. Oh man but that wasn't the worst of it... the room was disgusting, I don't know how they allowed this room to pass or both rooms to pass cleaning inspection from the housekeeping. I have posted photos as proof of the uncleanness and just the desperate need for repairs and upgrade. It is an expensive hotel and for that price so much more is expected, cleanliness a top priority. 1. The carpet is so old and full of dark dirty stains that I couldn't walk barefoot. 2. The walls had food stains and dirt marks. 3. The kitchen cabinets had dried spills on the side and the handles as you can see from the photos had built up food sludge. The small refrigerator had rust and it was dirty inside. 3. The glass shower was not cleaned whatsoever. The calcium buildup from water is shown in the photos... it was opaque from the filth. You could barely see through. 4. The personal care package was opened already and left there as if it was never used? 5. There was No matress protector on the bed. We moved the bed since it was off center and found dust on headboard along with someone's false eyelashes! 6. The closet door could not open because it was broken and soo rusted and filed with dust and dirt. 7. The couch had a hole on the cushion. The counters were not wiped thankfully we have disinfectant wipes stocked... I regret staying there so much... money not only wasted but definitely a stain on my weekend of being proposed too... by sharing my terrible experience, I wish to spare you, yours....
