I have a mental illness and very low self esteem. I checked into Norman regional hospital for help with this. While in this hospital my sister had to leave the county. I wanted to leave to say goodbye, but he said " how long have you known your sister?" Confused, I answered him. He then said it was stupid for me to leave. I went in there because I had low self esteem and felt hopeless. I can't imagine why he thought it was okay to intentionally make someone who felt like that feel stupid. He is a cruel man. For a person who deals with people with mental illness, he has no regard for others feelings. I can only think that he became a psychiatrist for the money. Because he clearly doesn't want to help people. I DO NOT recommend him as a psychiatrist. I went in to hep me with my self esteem and thanks to him I felt worse about myself after I left. Your doctor shouldn't call you stupid.
