Really shocked and taken by surprise by the action...

Really shocked and taken by surprise by the actions of two employees. It was 9:40 pm when I was seen by two employees walking up to the front door. I could clearly see the two employees standing at the host station , when suddenly they ran off to avoid having to serve me. Although I stoped and checked what time they closed on the board outside the door I had made the decision to find another place. Being in management in the service industry (restaurants to be exact) I make it a point to ask if the kitchen is still in operation vs broke down for close. I entered on purpose to make it a point that I seen them both run away , which I find quite mishandled. Then was informed the kitchen was closed. Perhaps they should be taught how to properly greet guest and properly inform guest due to a slower night the kitchen has closed early. Simple as that!
