The women that work behind this counter are beyond rude. I can't believe the county hires people like that. It's not just one bad apple either. I've only interacted with one nice lady who was helpful and willing to help resolve some confusion. My husband has been trying to arrange a payment plan and we were suppose to hear back this week according to the other rude lady that helped my husband file his request last week. I called today to check on the status of his request since he was at work. I explained that we had been at their counter last week and my husband filed a request. The response I got was "stop saying we. This request is not we, it's him". I kindly replied "I don't understand where the hostility is coming from. I am just trying to find out if the request was granted". She did not acknowledge my response but rudely responded "I don't have any information yet". I responded "Thank you. Can I please get your name"? And she hung up on me. I don't understand why people take customer service positions if they are not going to have positive additudes and good customer service skills. If you don't like people please don't take a job where you're interacting with other human beings all day. If you don't like your job, quit! Life is too short.
