Taylor Made is an absolutely beautiful representation of Horse Country! I can't wait to go back when everything is green, lush, and in bloom. The stallion area feels regal yet somber up on the hilltop, just beyond the graveyard. We learned that horses are typically buried only as a head, heart, and hooves, with the rest of the body being cremated and given to the owner (except in extreme cases like Man O'War); mares and stallions are buried separately, which is some kind of tradition. We also got to see one of the mother and baby barns, with lots of newborn foals and pregnant mamas out in the fields. Absolutely magical! Our visit was part of a special event, therefore we didn't get to see what the general public normally does (probably a visitors center of some sort). Instead we saw a small, cramped office space and watched a very strange video that was more about nepotism than the outstanding horses and beautiful countryside. I found it quite odd and uninspiring. Nevertheless, a fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone, local or tourist alike.
