I am a volunteer for the food bank. My job is to come in Friday afternoon and throw out all the left-over food that nobody took.
This stuff goes in the TRASH.
I have watched people I know, who own hundreds of acres of farm ground, come in here to get the FREE food.
This program isn't accomplishing it's goals. Homeless people have no way to cook food.
Greedy rich folks come in here, the rest goes in the trash. Walmart (the biggest donor) gets a huge tax write-off and we dispose of their unsold merchandise.
I am done.
