I took the timed tour. There was no waiting around...

I took the timed tour. There was no waiting around in sun but there was some waiting time in the lobby. I didn't mind it though since it was air conditioned.

Once on tour, i found the rotunda very fascinating. Tour narration was ok. Head sets were not so good. This is a must see place if in DC. Though I would recommend a self guided tour.
