Jason gave me a quote for pressure washing, painting my front porch & pressure washing my 2 decks & the exterior of my screened porch. We discussed in detail about peeling paint on 4 columns on my porch and he said they could take care of it where the columns would be smooth when painted. A date was scheduled and on that date 2 painters arrived. One spoke no English and the other one barely spoke any. The one who spoke some English was completely unaware of what Jason and I had discussed concerning the peeling paint. It was obvious he didn't feel comfortable painting the columns so they would look smooth and wouldn't start peeling again. He left & in a following call, Jason promised he would send "their best guy. He stated he talked with him and he knew exactly what to do to handle the columns. My job was scheduled 1-1/2 weeks later.
While I was waiting, I called and asked to speak to the owner, Chris Camp. I was told he was out of town, but they would have Cody, a manager call me back. He never did. Two days before the painting was set to start again, I called and asked to speak to Cody since he had not called me back. Again I was told he would call. He never did.
On the scheduled date, Ricardo (their best painter) arrived. While we talked, I could tell he wasn't fully understanding. I asked him if he knew why he was at my home, what he was there to do. Pausing, he said, "something about your columns." As I tried to discuss my concerns about the peeling paint, the ones Jason assured me would be handled properly, he just stared at me with no answers. I asked if he wanted to see the decks and screened porch he would be pressure washing. He looked confused. He was completely unaware he was supposed to be washing the decks and the exterior of my screened porch. Then he began complaining the paint could start peeling, even though the paint is in great shape on my decks and porch and it was freshly painted 3 years ago.
I called the office with him standing there. Eva, who answered, acted irritated that I had called. They made excuses for Ricardo s confusion about not knowing he was supposed to wash the screened porch and decks. I asked if they had someone, a project manager, who spoke fluent English and Spanish who could communicate with him and explain to him what he was supposed to do. Eva stated she would try and find someone. Ricardo eventually left but was supposed to return. An hour passed and he had not returned. I called the office and talked with a woman who was incredibly rude. When I mentioned it had been an hour since I was told Ricardo was coming back and I needed to know when he was coming back, she argued with me saying it had not been an hour. I asked for her name several times and she refused to give it to me each times. Then she hung up on me. I called back, she answered and hung up on me again. I called back and asked to speak to Eva and she stated she wasn t there.
During all of this, I asked to speak with a manager and was told that they are all in a conference out of town. Managers are never available to talk and never return your call in this company.
After the rude, uncaring treatment by the office personnel, their "best" painter showing up without even a clue about what he was supposed to be doing that day, I cancelled the painting job.
This company is very poorly run! Managers do not return calls. After they win your job, they send out painters who are unaware of what they are supposed to do or what has been discussed concerning your home. The office personnel are rude, argumentative and completely unsympathetic when you relate what is going on, even to the point of hanging up on you. If this company replies to this review, I expect it to be full of justifications and excuses based on how I was treated by the office personnel.
