If I sould give a 0 star I would. At first I didn t want to make it public but after sending a personal massage to the cell number Lorraine called to reschedule my appointment, I did not hear anything back from her. Not an apology. So I guess I should warn other people about this salon. I am very disappointed with my haircut I had at this salon. It was a total disaster.

I thought Lorraine was going to cut my hair herself (as my appointment was postponed when she was sick and wasn t sure if her junior stylist will be able cut a short layered bob for me) She seemed to be on top of the quality of her service over the phone so I went in with confident that even though it wasn t her, she wouldn t let the junior stylist cut my hair.

I showed the pictures of the hair style I wanted to the stylist and he confirmed he could do it. From the picture I showed (pixie bob/short layered bob) became a medium straight bob. He convinced that it would be a shock from a very long hair to short, so he would cut it mid length to see if I like it and will take it from there. I should have questioned if he had the time (since I know what I want and i came in with pictures of the hair I want) but I agree anyway thinking he was just being nice.

After cutting my hair to medium length straight bob which I didn t like, i told him I wanted it short. Once again, I showed him the pictures and he began to cut my hair shorter. I started to feel the tension (and probably anger that I didn t like the hair style he gave me) and my hair became a short straight bob, not near anything I wanted it to be. Not to mention the quality of the cut. It is not even leveled right. He asked how long I want my bang to be and cut a piece of hair from my right cheek and thats it. He didn t even split the hair evenly or even comb the hair before cutting it.

I feel that if only he would be honest to me about his limitations, I wouldn t have any problems. I might not get what I want that day but at least I would have a chance to choose either to have a medium straight bob (as he obviously cannot do layers) or not to risk it at all.

I understand I am a Groupon customer and you will probably say you get what you paid for but I think it is still unfair. If you mentioned in Groupon that with the price I would get an under par quality, I would rather have paid full price. (And I actually get other service as well that day, not just the Groupon cut. And I tip the stylist regardless of the quality because I didn t want to be rude.)

At the end I did not dare to tell your stylist that I wasn t happy with my hair because it is obvious that he is not competent to make it any better. I actually call to make an appointment with other salon to fix my hair right in front of your salon. What a waste of time and money.

I hate to complain but I really need to let you know that it is important to be honest with your customer, know and accept your limitations. I hope that no other will have to go through the same experience at your salon.
