I am an old school Village gal. It's been an adjustment with the times changing, but the food is still just as diverse and gratifying as ever. My only complaint is the blue cheese dressing that used to be homemade is now a thick, gelatin-like substance that can't hold a candle to the original. That and the fact that employees wear uniforms as though this is a cooperate environment. They still have character and the food is still yummy. Go there! Just don't go there expecting food a half hour before the kitchen closes. They are on "bar time" and have lost mucho business as a result. Can't tell you how many nights we have been super let down, even though MY clock says 11:30pm Go next door to the pizza place!!! KILLER NYC style pizza!!! Christian's pizza
