We stayed at this hotel for a week in Sept 2020 (during Covid conditions). The hotel is situated on the cliffs overlooking the main harbours in Sorrento. There is a 5-10 minute walk up the coast road from the main town but it is a gradual incline and not a problem. There are steps or a lift to the main reception area. The lift (which has a glass front and overlooks the sea) takes you to the room levels. The Hotel staff were all really friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is off the reception and also has an outdoor veranda with tables where you can eat you breakfast looking out to Mt Vesuvius. The breakfast was continental and did not change much each day apart from the fruit. This may have been due to Covid restrictions though. The room we had (room 19) had a window but no balcony and an amazing view across the sea. The room was comfortable although a little dated and basic in presentation. The hotel does have several larger rooms with balconies though. There is a pool area that also overlooks the sea with free loungers and outdoor shower.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sorrento, the views alone every morning and evening made the holiday special for us.
