Bought an Engagement ring and wedding band set. Have since had it appraised after purchase to be worth less than a half of your stated values. The sapphire and diamonds in question appraised in 3 separate states by unrelated gemologists found to be of lower value and thus significantly devaluing the set as a whole. I was offered in all cases less than 1/4 of the original price for the set. My expectations aren t unrealistic but the value differing so greatly by third party companies is concerning. The third party companies all landed within a few hundred dollars in value used, and cost it should have been new. The only information I provided each time to each jeweler/gemologist was your paperwork. I also do not appreciate within the course of a single day and handful of emails cutting to the chase of asking me to take down the review. I am currently working on collecting and will be providing at my convenience the differing opinions.

I amended my valuing by all other jewelers to be as accurate as possible. From my initial review so yes 1/2 new cost and 1/4 reselling are accurate. I initially stated it was valued at 1/4 new if made by the other companies. So the values listed above are indeed accurate.
