I called and made an appointment, told the receptionist I was a new patient. When I arrived I was given paperwork to complete and sign. On page 7 it says you agree to pay an ANNUAL Administration Fee. They do not list the amount of this ANNUAL FEE (it's $49) it is NOT covered by insurance, and is NOT included in the healthcare services. When I inquired about this fee the receptionist told me "All of the Dr's are doing it today". I instantly cancelled my appointment, was refunded my co-pay, and found another local dermatologist who does not charge the fee. In my 50 years of going to the Dr. I have never heard of this. BEWARE!!!! If you use this practice, on page 7 of the forms they give you, you agree for them to collect this fee from you. It's just another way for them to screw you out of $49 ANNUALLY. It's a SCAM. BEWARE!!! Never once was I told of this fee when I called the office.
