I was there with my husband in September and stayed in Hotel Il Castelo as the travel agent (Kuoni) advised us, that it a good time for the couples. I must say it was not and as is a family resort with babies and kids everywhere. It is a beautiful place with lovely beach but not as many places to eat as it says on the website. some places have different names day and night and different parts. Many of them are either booked or require additional supplement. But the main problem for me was the presence of wasps during the breakfast at Cavalieri Restaurant. Unfortunately I could not enjoy a single breakfast during my 10 days stay. I am very surprised such a well organised and beautiful place can not do anything about it and overcome the problems???. Obviously Mosqiuotes are additional problems at night but certainly not to the extant of wasps at breakfast time. For me breakfast time is the most important part of my holiday but it turned out to be so stressful and I was dreading every morning to go for breakfast but had to keep my husband company and go for it. I am very disappointed and for this reason do not recommend this place to anyone.
