We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The service was great and the large area surrounding the hotel very pleasant. Snorkling right next to the hotel was great fun. The reefs were a lot more impressive than I expected. However. Be ready to go trough a lot of security checks before you get inside. We bought some coffee and had to sign a waiver saying that the hotel is not responsible in case of poisoning to get it inside. The Taba border crossing can be very confusing. The immediate area has nothing to offer. The food got very boring on the 3rd day. Don't expect anything more than the standard continental food with a russian flair. There were a couple of vaguely local dishes, but nothing exciting. Don't get me wrong - the food is not bad, it's just boring.
