The Inn at Little Washington finally and decisivel...

The Inn at Little Washington finally and decisively cured me of my interest in pursuing Michelin Star experiences. I've been numerous one and two star restaurants but this was my first experience with a 3-star establishment. I recognize that my expectations were set rather high, but they were not so lofty that they could not be met.

The service was fine. Setting plates down simultaneously isn't that exciting anymore. The staff was not condescending, which was a delightful change of pace but was otherwise unremarkable perhaps because of their invisible hand intention.

The problem is that it was only "fine." Given their accolades, I expected more than "fine." We all left hungry and stopped at Popeye's for Spicy Chicken Sandwiches on the long trek home -- another poignant example of something that is dramatically over-hyped and disappointing.

The only reason that this review is 2/5 instead of 1/5 is because of Cameron the "Cheese Whiz."
