I really like this library. I'm very disappointed...

I really like this library. I'm very disappointed in my last 2 visits. I requested a book, I was called and told to pick it by a certain date. I get there, the book is no where to be found. So, the assistant requests it again. Same thing, I get there, the book is no where to be found, but this time, I told it's bern checked out. I didn't bother requesting it again. Why tell me I have until a certain day to pick it up and when I get there bybtgatvdate, it's not there?
