*Update 3/27/19 below** My wife and I were looking for a Jeep Wrangler recently and went to Troncolli to see what was on the lot. Dave Schwartz took great care of us from the moment he greeted us in the parking lot. We appreciated that Dave was not at all pushy. We told him what we were looking for and what we were willing to pay for it. He was very upfront about the bottom line which greatly helped us not waste our time. We left the dealership without hassle and came back a few days later to close the deal. No high pressure tactics or shady practices. Very impressed with Dave and Troncolli. I would highly recommend Dave to my friends and family when looking for a Jeep.

While the salesman took good care of us (he s no longer there), I would like to share my experience with their finance guy. During financing, I opted for the Mopar Max extended warranty, which is supposed to be an extension of the factory warranty. I asked several times and was VERY adamant about only wanting the warranty if it is the same as the factory bumper to bumper. He assured me that it was. Well, a few weeks later I get the paperwork and lo and behold, the warranty paperwork outlines EXTENSIVE limitations and exclusions. So I contact the GM at the dealer and explained that I felt duped by the finance guy. He apologizes and the finance guy calls me directly to explain that it was a clerical error. Someone typed in one wrong digit when processing my warranty and I got the limited warranty instead of the max warranty. He assures me that it was unintentional and that he has already put in a request to fix it. OK, I give him the benefit of the doubt. 6 weeks go by and I ve received no updates. I called the Mopar warranty customer service # and they still showed my vehicle under the limited plan.

So I went in person to the dealer and walked into the finance guy s office. Long story short, I ask him what is the deal? He fiddles around with his computer, and without any apology or anything resembling people skills, says ok, all set . That s it? It took you less than a minute to fix it and for 6 weeks you did nothing?

Sure enough, I received my updated paperwork a couple of weeks later with the correct warranty. Also, the Max warranty is NOT a extension of the bumper to bumper. It covers a lot more than the limited but not as much as the original mfg warranty. That was a straight up lie. But at this point, I ll just cut my losses and move on. I just wanted to warn others to pay close attention during financing as these guys do not seem to operate with ethics. Even if the salesman is the nicest guy in the world, during the financing is where they make their money. I can no longer recommend this dealership to friends and family.
