I was verbally told that my transmission would be repaired for $1,600 with a 5 year warranty. Based on that, I verbally approved the repair over the phone.

Just before my vehicle was due to be picked up, I was told that there was a mistake, and the total cost would be roughly $4,000. Was also told that there would not be a 5 year, but a 3 year warranty. Employee stated that he read the information backwards . Tear the motor apart, and raise the quote eh? All of this for a poorly designed torque converter that failed by no fault of my own, and after just a couple weeks of my warranty expiring. To top it off, my vehicle was not vacuumed or washed at pick up. This is my 2nd GMC, and without a shadow of a doubt, it is absolutely my last from this dealer.

I don t normally make a fuss about poor service, but after talking to the individual who sold me the vehicle (from Brotherton) that no longer works there, I am confident that I was treated exceptionally poorly. Something that I won t ever forget.
