Initially my appointment was postponed. I was still ok with that and not having any negative impression. Though the encounter with the staff at the reception was not pleasant, I was ok with that too. But, I was surprised to learn that from the PMHNP who saw my 17yrs old son, saying that I had to see a psychologist to confirm that my son has ADHD at all. I was not told about that at the time of taking the appointment. If I had to go see a psychologist, it would be an extra $$ besides this appointment which is useless. I was under impression that he will be tested for the problem. I was seeing them on my son complaining that he has ADHD. I found it ridiculous that he will be given medicine just based on what my son says but not by a diagnosis and/or a medical proof. One more surprising thing is that they increased the dosage just by my son saying that the previous one had no effect. The cause can be exploited by teenage boys and there should be substantial proof before prescribing the medicine. I'd not go there again.
