I have always tried to have a positive attitude towards dining out. And I really tried here as well. But after eating or more correctly trying to eat here, I lack for a positive thing to say. The bartender was nice.

We waited an extremely long time for any kind of service, even though we were 1 of 6 or 7 tables seated with a wait staff of 4 waitresses, we still couldn t get our drinks refilled or asked what we wanted.

Our waitress was way too busy socializing to be bothered with us. After realizing that we were not going to get service, I went to the hostess, who brushed me off with a your waitress will be with you. I asked for a manager and was told the bartender was the manager. When I went to the bartender he was clear that he wasn t the manager. Apparently there isn t a manager at Elliot s, and if there is he or she is absentee.

While I was discussing the matter with the bartender my waitress finally made an appearance to toss my check in front of me, huff, and walk off.

The bartender witnessed that and instantly comped my check for drinks and one appetizer. He was incredible, but unfortunately the rest of the experience just drew too much from the positivity that exists.
