Duncan Brown Review of Sondéla Nature Reserve

My neighbour very kindly gave her timeshare points to me, and I feel that they were wasted on Sondela. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the animals that visit on daily basis was just wonderful.
However, I would strongly recommend that guests DO NOT book during the week. Most of the activities and facilities only operate over the weekends. The main restaurant was closed, the general store closed at 4pm everyday, the kiosk at the entertainment area was closed too. No horse riding, no quad bikes and the farmyard is a joke.
The Wildlife Centre offers a Daily Tour and a Feeding Tour - both the same, except the feeding tour included WATCHING the ranger feed the animals - no animal interaction. And the variety of animals seen on their website, certainly did not match what they have - no cheetah, no giraffe, no rhino, no cubs. They should state what animals are available before guests pay for the tours.
Accommodation, wildlife and pools were lovely, but activities and facilities were poor and outdated.
