Room

Room
The rooms were extremely cold. Even when trying to adjust the thermostat it still remained cold.

Wife didn't really like not having a box spring. Bed was okay but just kind of threw us off a bit.

After a 3 hour drive from Montego Bay my wife just wanted to take a shower. The diverter was broken so the shower did not work. They fixed it while we grabbed a bite to eat but it was frustrating to say the least after how long it took to get to the resort.

Roaches
On two occasions we experienced a roach. Once on our way out of the room heading to dinner. The roach was fighting for dear life on its back. Told the housekeeper. The second occasion was the morning we were checking out. My wife was brushing her teeth and saw a baby roach. Disgusting.

Tom and Jerry
While eating on two occasions outside we experienced multiple cats running around under our feet looking for food. The second night we experienced it a ignorant guest thought it was appropriate to feed the cats from her dinner table. From there the cats found a mouse in the grass. My wife jumped and alerted me when she saw the mouse hanging from the cats mouth. Needless to say we got up and went to our room.

Subpar Customer Service
We ate at the same restaurant twice. The first night the experience was beautiful (Tanisha from Manor Restaurant). The second night was the night of the "Tom and Jerry" incident. When we got our water it was very murky. My wife brought it to the attention of the waiter and she kind of laughed it off like it wasn't a big deal.

We wanted to leave something for the couple that was getting married. I took it to the desk so that they could make sure the couple checking in got it. I was told the concierge desk was closed and he advised me to come back when they were available. As a former Marriott manager that is unacceptable. Even if HE had to get it to them why was I being turned down for something so elementary that is done in hotels all across the world. A simple task.

Upon checkout we were asked about our experience. Once we told them we weren't happy it was suggested that we email management and let them know about our experience. I emailed the Operations Manager about our stay on December 18, 2019 and STILL have not heard back from him.

We will never stay at a Sandals property as it stands again. We were not impressed. With the amount of money you spend for all inclusive it was NOT worth it. We would not run the risk of having a similar experience after paying $3000. I can plan my own trip and spend less and have more control.
