I have been living in Bologna for 23 years, I grad...

I have been living in Bologna for 23 years, I graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration and I am attending a specialized degree course. Perhaps it is true, bureaucracy is a veritable sword of Damocles, and it is also true that piazza verde smells like piss and is full of toxic substances, this is information that is completely unrelated to the university that hosts us. The professors who teach in these very ancient halls are still able to transmit passion and a desire for change. Whoever flees from Bologna, or from Italy in search of something "better" or more "right" knows that he will not find it. The world is not right, and running away from problems does not make you a stronger person, but only a coward and a nullity. If you really believe in what you do, and in the country where you live, you accept its pros and cons, you get angry, you swear and sometimes you start from scratch; running away from one's life is a very simple practice that many young people are adopting without good reason. Instead of being foreigners in others' homes, try to make your country and your university a better place to live especially for those who will come after you.
You who complain, run away and fall, be ashamed. You pity me.
