I came to California for work and decided to stay in Burbank instead of Downtown LA. First I would like to say that Burbank is a great town, it sort of has an beach town vibe to it. However, my mistake was going to Castaway. After reading the reviews (which I assume some fluffed up) I decided to head there for the view and and a great dinner. The view was nice but the dinner and serviced sucked. I felt like I was eating at a cheap dinner. First I ordered a medium rare steak, it came back fully cooked. I wanted to tell the waiter but he didn't show back up until 20 minutes after the food came. Lousy service. The restaurant wasn't busy, so what was he doing? I had to ask another waitress (if you could call her that) for my check and she was rude as well. I paid $70 for a meal that was meant for the homeless. I hope the waiter enjoyed his 5 buck tip, I should've left him 50 cents.

I come to the LA area often for work and if I stay in Burbank again I will not eat at Castaway. Huge waste of money. Their service sucks and wait staff is rude as hell.
