The Grand Hotel is a very comfy environment. The lack of automobiles makes the atmosphere pleasant and quiet. The rooms have appealing decor. The connected restaurant serves a well rounded selection of dining choices. The wait staff are cheerful and attentive. The grounds are beautiful. A splendid fountain adorns a lush green lawn surround by various flowers and decorative bushes. The pool house has both a full fitness room and sauna. The pool itself is larger than most and does a great job of accommodating large crowds. The only inconvenience was the cost of the house shuttle. One would think that with the expense of the Grand Hotel that the shuttle to and from downtown would be complimentary.
