This place and the people who work here are a joke...

This place and the people who work here are a joke. I was screwed so badly by these people that even 6 months later I am still seeing red. Let me tell you what happened: I brought my ipod touch here to have the battery changed. They wanted $40 to do it, and that seemed like a great deal, so I went ahead and gave them my ipod and paid for the service. Three weeks later I was told that my ipod was ready for pick up. I went to pick it up and everything looked great. Thanked them and went on my merry way. The battery only lasted a few hours so I went to plug it in and NOTHING. The battery was dead. It would not hold a charge, so I called up North Park Computers and told someone there that my new battery was faulty and they told me to bring it in. No problems so far. So I brought it in and I was told that they needed to order a new battery so it may be a few weeks. Okay. A month later and I was called to come in and pick it up. So I went in and they handed me back my ipod. The only problem was the ipod was not put back together correctly. The top and bottom were not sealed and I was told that there was nothing that they could do about it, but that it still worked great. WHAT? So I check to see if it does in fact, "work great", and it does not. The home button did not work so I could not use it at all. I was then told that I needed to leave it behind again so that this new problem could be fixed. Two more weeks and I am back. Home button works but the ipod touch cannot be sealed back together. Sorry. That is just the way it is now. Handle it carefully. At this point I am so mad that I decide to leave. Done. I get home and immediately write reviews on Yelp and on Google. Two days pass and I get a call from North Park Computers asking me to take my reviews down, and if I do I will get a refund. Being the sell out that I am I take them up on the offer. Down come the reviews. And I have my $40 back. But I still have a broken ipod touch. So, six months later, I have decided to rewrite my reviews in order to warn perspective customers that these guys are NOT GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO. Do not make the same mistake I did. Avoid this place at all costs!
