I'm a former 20 yr (out of state), State Correctional Officer/Sgt.
I've worked from NYC, to Chicago/NW Indiana, to Missouri.
The "tragic" near death,/paraplegic result of my youngest daughter's husband, (a Pastor of a small church), brought me to Missouri.
Two weeks after my employment with Frick's, (last year), my younger
and only brother died unexpectedly in the New York City area amidst the Covid "madness".
Frick's assured me that after I attended to my family's needs, that my "job would be here waiting for you".
On behalf of everyone who has suffered loss during the "pandemic", words cannot convey the stress involved, nor the appreciation of a sympathetic employer in this matter.
In the Covid "madness" of NYC, it took 2 weeks to bury my brother. Upon my return to MO, and self- quarantine, I returned to my employment with Frick's.
As the oldest man in my Dept, I came to work, "kept my head down", and worked hard, (as many young men came and went.) It did NOT go unnoticed by Mngmt.
In less than a year and a half, I have received 5 Pay raises, and have been promoted 2 Pay-Scales up, to a "Technician"!
As a former State Correctional Officer, I am familiar with "work culture". And I will state "for the record", that here at Frick's, here and now, is the most positive, individually merit based, employee supportive workplace/ "culture" I have ever worked in!
They say "everything is perspective". I can only speak for myself. I enjoy, and look forward to going to work each day.

*Frick's has raised the Entry-Level starting pay to $17-$18 hr.
*$1.00 hr Weekly Perfect Attendance Bonus
*$1.00 raise after 60 days
*100% Individual Medical Benefits Employer Paid
When applying, tell em FRANK sent you!!!
Peace
