My husband and I purchased a wall bed with a flip-up desk from Portland Closet Company. Our experience started off on an impressive step with designer, Jason. He arrived to our house on time and got right to work measuring and sketching. He asked detailed questions to get a feel for what we were looking for and he offered his opinion based on an artist's perspective. Jason was personable, friendly, and professional.

After receiving the emailed draft and design proposal, Jason and I exchanged several emails during which I changed my mind at least twice about what I wanted it to look like. He took the time to work through the changes with me and let me know how it would effect our end result and price.

Before we ultimately submitted our order with Portland Closet Company, two other companies came to our house to measure and draw up a design. (The competitors' "designers" were more like salespeople with tape measure and CAD experience). I wasn't happy with the other companies' designs and their prices were considerably higher.

The installation was smooth and easy and everything looks fantastic! Unfortunately, our wall bed was installed the very week of pandemic shutdowns. Sooo... it hasn't been used even once. Oh well. We're prepared for future guests!
