Dr Gorman has given my life back to me..after a failed hip replacement in 2017 and a hip revision in 2019 i was left with permanent nerve damage.
I tried everything from physical massage therapy to ablation to medical marijuana..nothing helped the horrid pain i was in..it was so debilitating that i thought that it was how my life was going to be.
My PCP Dr talked to me about a pain management dr. I did alot of research and found Dr Gorman. He talked to me about what had transpired in the past to where I am now and i finally..after 4 yrs got a definitive diagnosis of CRPS. Dr Gorman told me what he can do to help which was first a trial of a DRG neurostimulator. I discussed it with my husband and said.."This is the last thing I'm trying".
The trial was a complete success and had the neurostimulator surgically implanted on 6/25/2021.
The pain i experienced for 4 yrs is completely gone. I can now walk like a normal person. I can walk around the block and thanks to Kristin from Abbott and Dr Gorman i am now able to have a normal life.
Anyone that has debilitating pain i cannot stress enough go see a Dr Gorman.
