I recently visited Macon County Conservation District and I have to say, it was an average experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the facilities were not well-maintained. The hiking trails were overgrown and there was litter in some areas. I was also disappointed with the lack of signage, as it was difficult to navigate the area. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I expected more.
