I honestly had no clue what the Skirball was before I paid my first visit this past week for an evening event after work. I can t comment on the aesthetics of the complex since I was only there after dark but definitely need to plan a return visit during the day soon. I attended a podcast taping and all in all the Skirball made for a very easy and enjoyable experience. Easy to navigate in and out of the parking structure, hassle-free parking, easily found the auditorium with the help of the friendly staff, and check-in was a breeze. Coffee shop-style refreshments were available beforehand but there was no food or drink allowed in the auditorium we used so I d ask an usher before buying anything you might not foaming before the start of your event. A great experience and an enthusiastic shout-out to the staff who, in my opinion, made the experience with their cordial helpfulness and refreshingly friendly attitudes throughout. I ll be back for the RBG exhibit!
