DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!! I AM PURSUING AN OFFICIAL LINE OF INVESTIGATION WITH AMAZON
My experience with One Motion was nothing short of CRIMINAL. I signed up to deliver for One Motion on behalf of Amazon. From the moment I started I had a very bad feeling about the job but like everything you sometimes just go with your gut and hope due to them being affiliated with Amazon that things will be 'above board'.
I am certain that they were not paying any of the drivers correctly, fuel didn't cover the miles that we were doing, we were often doing large van routes and getting paid for small. Sometimes we were scheduled to work and then just before the shift when we had already driven to the site to collect packages we were told that our shift was cancelled. Very poor management and little to no job security.
During my time with the company I had 2 vans...Van number 1 was in perfect condition which I returned in the same conditions...no problems. Van number 2 though had damage on the bumper and general wear and tear throughout the vehicle. The images that were taken at the the start of hire were limited and showed on certain angles. The images that were taken at the end of hire were far more detailed and the angles were best suited to areas of potential damage. This very small amount of damage was present when I hired the vehicle at the start and the guy who did my paperwork told me 'don't worry we only look for big cracks and dents'.
I received an invoice demanding payment within 24 hours (for damage I didn't do). But they failed to pay me my final pay 4 weeks after I finished working with them on when I chased them 4 times.
This company is criminal but thankfully I am an amazon shareholder and a family friend is a member of the senior team at Amazon HQ in Seattle.
If One Motion refund me the fees that they charged me for the damages within the next 2 weeks I will go no further with my complaint. If One Motion fail to address this issue I will do everything within my power to compromise the contract between Amazon and One Motion. There is enough bad feedback across multiple channels to give Amazon consideration moving forward.
Plus I have emails and messages from multiple One Motion managers encouraging the drivers to use a second phone so that we can cheat the driving safety app 'Mentor'. This is for sure a breach of protocol and I am sure the newspapers and Amazon will enjoy hearing about this.
My name is Adam Whitehouse...you have my contact details. Resolve this issue or face endless, relentless attempts to compromise your contract with Amazon based on negligence and breach of safety protocol.
