Going here on a regular basis for a year and 3 months really helped me to understand why I should be worshipping God by myself. Don't get me wrong, the pastors and the rest of the staff are fantastic, great people. The students on the other hand really don't have much of an understanding of how to treat a person, reason why I have dropped contact with everyone here. All that was caused to me was mental harm. Even the parents were telling their children to avoid me when I went to the youth group because some people like to spread false rumours that can be very hurtful. Possibly because I have the personality trait of not respecting people that don't respect me. I don't condone ignorance in children and God forbid, their parents. Some people just can't raise children with a disciplined manor. If you plan on bringing your children here whether they are middle or high school students, take precaution. There is simply too much drama in the youth group to be worth it. I was told that I would never be anything, that I don't belong here by students. Well unfortunately for those people I'm already more than them- this is where my trait of not respecting ignorant people comes into play. I'm in the US Navy now and when I finish my term I'll be able to get a job at an airport making $104k-120k annually because I chose the right time to leave and do something productive with my future. It wasn't easy leaving but I realized the longer I was away from the church, the happier I was. Consider your options if you are a newcomer
