Definitely a fun place. If you are a natural scientist ( chemistry, biology, physics) just don't listen to all the details on the tour. (Example: gasses expand when they get hot because the molecules get larger. LOL.) The tours are nicely set up, and there are lots of things to see. Some time rummaging around afterwards is nice. Bring water... There are discounted tickets online, so look around. The front desk staff are super nice.
