We have always had good service at Flint Audio and have spent at least $20K there in the past few years. We are good customers. Last week we went into the store and made a service appt for the following week for 9:30 a.m. We spoke with the owner about buying a new TV, afterwards, we were brought to the counter where the technician made the appt. We told him that we specifically wanted the first appointment of the day. They said it would be 9:30 a.m. and he assured me that someone would be there at the appointed time. To my regret, we received no paperwork confirming that because we trusted them to keep their word. Appt day comes, we have rearranged our schedules to be home and no Flint Audio. A call to them tells me that they are coming between 3-5 pm. That is not acceptable when we made the appt for 9:30 a.m. Do not talk with their technician GEORGE. He told me that the owner is away for a week and that HE is in charge and HE is the manager and I would have to deal with him. He was rude, condescending, arrogant and unyielding. He was unwilling to change someone's appt to help us today. It will be yet another 2 weeks before we can get someone here. He talked down to me, and hung up on me. That is unacceptable for ANY business. George should not be working with the public, he should be in the back stacking boxes. His people skills leave much to be desired. All the people who work at Flint Audio have been wonderful in the past. My last words when leaving the store were "I totally trust that they will be there next Friday at 9:30" Now, my trust with Flint Audio is very low because of GEORGE. This may affect our future business.
