Blood on wall of room in Emergency Department. Brought it to nurse's attention. She made a glib comment but did not clean it. Nor did she summon staff to do so.
I was placed in the hallway on a gurney to wait to be transported to a room.
Watched as they wheeled a gentleman into the ER room I just left without cleaning it first. To be clear, they did not clean ONE thing in that room.
If there was blood on the wall what else is lurking? When is the last time the room was sanitized?
They could give no answers.
Supervisor claimed they did not have time to clean ER rooms between every visit.
