You would be better to spend your money grabbing a cheap meal before going to Barter Theater. This falls much more in the $10 community theater experience than what they charge. Food is decent and served hot. However your server is also an actor so you do not get service while they are on stage. The audio is horrible quality and uncomfortably loud. They left an actor on stage without a working mike the entire show. Customs are not great. They constantly remind you to tip you actor. I'm not used to tipping actors at theaters. I'm used to tipping restaurants with my cc but here you pay in advance. It made for a weird experience. First time. Probably the last trip. That says a lot because we probably attend 10 plays a year at other theaters.
