Extremely overly competitive and time consuming. Our son did soccer through them in elementary school, and with multiple practices and multiple games per week, we were on the sports field until 8:00, with an elementary school child, several nights a week. Sportsmanship is neither taught to the children nor modeled by the adults, parents and coaches screaming at their children and other children on the team for missed shots, booing children on the opposing team, and more than once I saw coaches getting into screaming altercations with each other. It's the classic youth sports league nightmare.
