Our son is finishing up the GA Pre-K program for 4 year olds at Old Peachtree Academy. My husband and I are really happy with the education that he received in Ms. Childers' and Ms. Gaston's Pre-K A classroom! We know he's more than prepared for kindergarten. This year, he learned about 3D shapes; basic addition; science concepts like life cycles, liquids/solids, and magnets; and upper and lower case letters. One day, he came home and told me that his new word was "chrysalis" and that they have Monarch Butterflies hatching out in their classroom! In addition, our son's penmanship has vastly improved this year and so has his cutting skills. When it came time to register him for kindergarten, he was ready and confident for the school assessment. He told me that Ms. Childers told him not to be afraid and to talk to the teacher. I have only positive comments about his teachers and this school. They have a very clean facility, a spacious playground, well equipped classrooms, and a good lunch program. As a parent, I appreciated that I was always welcome to visit the class, join my son for lunch, read them a book, or just observe their activities, which I did from time to time. I highly recommend Old Peachtree Academy!
